correcting papers until after twelve. Now my room is so chilly I think I may go to bed after scratching a note or two. I had a pretty good lunch, though. I bought a quart of milk on my way home, and Mrs. Chamberlain donated some boiled potatoes, some lettuce, a spoonful of peas, and a little cake. I had some salmon left over which I creamed with the peas. Now I feel that I was treated pretty well. To-night we are going to have chicken. You know how I like that!
