I went to Providence Saturday to see a superintendent. He sent me up to see the principal of the Technical High School. I may hear from them later. Sat. night and part of Sunday I spent with Daisy. She has a very attractive six-room apartment in Brookline. The back porch is about twice as big as your parlor, about as wide and twice as long. Oren has screened it in and in the summer time they eat and just about live there, I guess. It is in the vicinity of the Sargent and Larz Anderson Estates. It has open orchards and fields behind and an open stretch of water for a mile or so in front. The dining room has four windows, and so has the parlor. Other rooms are also very attractive. Oren has provided all kinds of electric appliances including a radio set that gets as far west as Chicago. He has to run his own furnace, but he gets the rent for $40. Isn't that unusual? His mother is with them and they are very good to her, and she seems extremely happy. I am ever so pleased about everything except
