rather hurt, I guess. He sulked for several days until at least about Wednesday morning I began jabbering to him and he thawed out somewhat. I don't know whether he will will ever regard me with undiluted admiration again or not, but we got several verdicts that we had been unable to get before any way.

Mr. Millington is going to let Eleanor, Melba, Ethel and me off early Wednesday next to take the car for South Acton - thence train to Boston to see the play, Abraham Lincoln. I am going to put up a lunch to take with us. I hope we have a good time.

Monday P.M. and Friday night I had play rehearsals. We plan to have them three nights a week. I guess school and that will keep me out of mischief.

The children are delighted with that new book. They ask for it on every possible occasion.
