store to be mailed. By the way on my way to Columbus Ave. The [[?]] morning first one side of the handle of my suit case dropped off and then, as the weight came on the other side, off it dropped too, so I took it under my arm and went into a fruit store where the men very kindly roped it for me.

I am working now on another little coat. It is a pinkish, red material trimmed with red corduroy. Miss [[Auslow?]] thought it hideous in color while Daisy liked it very much. I'm neutral for once. 

I had a very nice visit with you Thanksgiving and shall be with you again by Christmas I expect if not before. Best wishes

Dear Folks:

Another week has gone by: I almost feel like saying at last but it has not been too bad altogether even though my cold has kept up. I do hope that Mr. Holmes' did not develop seriously. 

Yesterday I got a report from the Civil Service that I had passed with a mark of 73. They rated me 70 on Education and preliminary training and 75 on Experience so I guess from that they expected me to have taken courses
