my doing so makes her, and if I get up after she does, I am in her way. She must have full swing in both bath room and kitchen. Of course if I don't get up until she goes at 5 minutes of eight, my day is terribly short; so in spite of the fact that I like the Pettengills and the place, I plan to find some little corner of my own for next year.

I went out yesterday P.M. about 6 o'clock and cut a lot of wild rose branches. When I came back Mrs. P. and I filled a large jardinière in her parlor and I made numerous bouquets upstairs. The buds, however, have not come out so well as I hoped they would, and some five leaves have drooped somewhat too.

I am glad that you are keeping well. Do be as good to yourself as you possibly can be.

All good wishes to you both,

Love,
Lena.
