I thought it would be sensible to bring these home and get my dinner here, as the patches are not far away.  I did so.  Then I was so weary I lay down until about 4 o'clock, and then started again for my walk.  I guess I went a good five miles - up into the edge of Reading.  I investigated old fields and pastures and country dirt roads, and came back with some roses too.  I ate my lunch - 2 oranges and two sandwiches - piecemeal on the trip - some of it in one place, some in another.  I had a delightful time, but was entirely exhausted the next day.
