many years now.

I am glad that Maud[[?]] and Ralph are getting their house fixed up. I wish that I could have that room over their parlor. It must be lovely and sunny. Is that the one that Henry calls his?

I made some baking powder biscuit to-night and they came out well. I put a little soda into some cream that had gone by, added milk, and then baking powder and cut them small. I wasn't quite certain about them, but luck was with me. Are you eating well these days? How I should like to be where I could cook your meals for you for a change. I am afraid you don't pay as much attention to yourself as you should.

Have you heard any of the spring birds yet? I don't seem to, although something eats the stuff I put out - dogs very likely.

Love and all good wishes, Lena
