am doing no talking here, and apparently the board doesn't want to, for I didn't find even notice of my resignation in the local paper, where usually such things are announced. Now I am going to rest, if all goes well, for a while and do some things I want to do, but I have loads of school work to get cleared up, and besides I am a member of the committee for the Teachers' Club Xmas party which comes Tuesday evening. Yesterday I walked to Wakefield and bought 40 candles and to-day Miss Garland and I made 31 carboard candle holders for the occasion.

I have just done up a bib for Daisy's baby. Berenice's and Lula's presents are already gone and a few others. I haven't touched my cards.

No more to-night.

Lena.
