but two of the freshman to the train while I took the two who stayed together with seven seniors, for a walk in the Fernery and to Marston's for supper (they paid their own way).  Then we walked down to the library and later back to the Opera House to see the "Merchant of Venice".  We had to leave, or thought we ought to, at 10:45 in order to get our 11:30 train for South Acton where we walked to Maynard twelve strong, for the other girls, one of them of last year's class, had also gone.  It was a good moonlight night and we got into twown at about 1:30.  But I got up and went to church next day just the same.

The minister they had last year has gone and they are trying out candidates.
