Sunday Night.

Dear Folks:

This has been a wonderful day. Two other teachers and I took our lunch after church and went out to Silver Hill and stayed all P.M. I got a whole kettle full of violets and a large bunch of dog wood. The Columbines were out also but I didn't pick them for if the weather is good to-morrow I want to take two of my classes over there for a lesson.

I went to Boston yesterday. I got three dresses - one gingham for house wear, and two voiles for school, for a little over ten dollars. Then I bought some pretty collars and vests, an umbrella although my seniors "in appreciation of what I had done to make the Senior Play a success" had given me a purple silk one with solid ivory handle and tips the day before. One of my girls was going in too. I saw her at the station. Kennedy has driven her off to work although she didn't want to go so soon. I met her after my shopping and after visiting the Atlantic Monthly Press and Macmillan, we went over to college where we went about and had a fine time. She may go to college
