Monday night Daisy and Laura Cook came down and we three went down to call on Miss Hutchinson and Miss Aldrich. They have a very pretty and comfortable place, but Miss H. is suffering badly with neuritis. Miss Cadigan, one of our teachers, is out sick in bed with it.

Did I tell you or maybe it has just been decided that we are to have our full vacation this year the same as the other Boston teachers and I guess I shall have the latter part of May and June besides August?

About the parade! It does not go past our school. We are right next to Washington Street on Massachusetts Ave., while the parade comes down only as far as Columbus Ave., three streets over from us so I can't help you that way but if by any chance I should get a seat anywhere and can gracefully turn it over to you, I shall be more than glad to do so but that is only a chance of course. Have you thought of going to Camp Devens the 22nd? That will be worth seeing, I should think.

We shall all await Washingtonian developments with open eyes and ears, but by this time you may have heard what their plans are anyway. Will they give up their present house when they go if they should go?

Berenice was down last week. She telephoned Friday night and I was to go to supper with them Sat., but had such a sicky feeling I tel. Sat. after-noon I should be among the missing. Sunday evening I went over, however, and got fed up on roast chicken. B. wants me to spend at least part of my vacation with her. I don't know whether I shall or not. To-morrow is the last day of school before Easter vacation, the first or last part of which - last I think - I shall probably spend with you, when I can tell you more about the frazzled subject of Miss L. and school in general. I tired of the subject. Its not very captivating so had better rest for a while at least. I am in hopes to see Date and his friend and give them a good time this week end.

Best wishes, Lena.
