Wednesday Morning.

Dear Folks: 

We left Aunt Cora's yesterday at 7-30 and arrived here about 5-30:  We had two automobile rides of about 2 miles each so we figure that we walked about 12 or 13 miles.  We are planning to climb Middle Mountain to-day, so will let you know later how we come out. 

Yesterday I found a large number of the purple-fringed orchids as we came through Pequaket.  I have also picked and seen a large number of pyrola and what Miss Collins thinks of as pipsiscrosa??  It seems so good to be on our feet where we can turn aside to explore the wayside, paths, flowers, etc.  Yesterday for instance we had strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries.  We
