They were ever so nice to me there, washed my neck a bit and tried to get Dr Eskman, but, failing, a girl there took me

T. spoiled a lovely coat she escaped injury and I believe Miss B. was not hurt either.  I am wondering if I can get the landlord to pay the expenses of the accident.  I know he is liable but don't know just what to do.  I should think he would prefer settling bills [[strikethrough]] than [[/strikethrough]] to having the matter taken further which of course I should not do.  The woman was out in her bath robe (with coat over it) cleaning the sidewalk this morning and had spread ashes over the curb, - evidently blooded from head.  I met a policeman and told him about it and asked him
