Sunday I was to meet Mary Ide at the City Club for dinner, but it rained so she called up and we postponed it.

Monday Daisy, her cousin and I went in to see President Wilson. We stood in front of the library and had a good view. I had been crazy to hear him speak but both Mrs. Windram and I had failed to draw tickets but I went up to Mechanics Hall just the same and there ran across the woman who founded the Trade School. She did not dare to rush the crowd so gave her ticket to me. He was wonderful, and the crowd was so enthusiastic it must have made him feel happy. Daisy and Florence meantime hung around outside and saw him again. It was glorious.
