Mrs. Windram got a telephone message Sunday morning that Mr. W. had died during the night. He was cremated and buried yesterday. Her trustee saw to everything so all she had to do was to go to the funeral when he called for her. It made things much easier for her. Neither of her daughters came on but his sister and son did. Her younger daughter wants her to take Barbera the little granddaughter for a month. It might take up her mind but I think it is a good deal to ask of her just now. The matter is not settled. ("Aneurism of aorta cause of death")

I went out to see Miss Hollis Sat. night. She has been having a hard time with rheumatism but her mother is looking well. She says that Berenice is coming down this week. I have been waiting for her to call up saying she was here. She said she would not have that baby because he wet the bed. I can imagine B. gave that as an excuse knowing how they would take it since she does not care to take the baby away from home.

Next Saturday evening Daisy, Oren and I are invited to Florence's so it does not look as though I should get to Stoughton this week end. If B. is here I suppose I should not go anyway.

Miss L. I think is trying to work into my good graces, probably that she may squelch me again, but I do not care for her now. Even Miss Anslow seems to take exception to some things Mrs W. is talking again about Mr. W. so good-bye.
