sister is here from Bangor. D. took us to the theatre last night to see Better 'Ole. It was exceedingly good. I should like to have them down some night if they can manage it and Mrs. W. is better, so I can't say definitely, but may come just the same.

Did I tell you that Daisy wrote to the Harrison, N.J. place and got two answers. He finally told her that he was coming on this week and would see her. I did not get a chance last night to ask her if he had come yet. I expected he would come to school when he did, but if he has Miss L. has said nothing to me. She is as agreeable as ever. Everybody seems to be enjoying her extraordinary moods. Really I don't see why she doesn't resign she is so terribly unpopular, but somehow I think she is soured and only grows worse when she sees how we regard her.

Mrs. W. thought is was so nice of you to speak as you did of her.

Lovingly,
Lena.
