Dear Folks.

Louie Dykeman came this noon and was paid. he said he would cash the check Saturday. he said his brother was home, so I called him up & he said he would look up the bill so I can pay him & that will make that all right. you should have kept your check I might have paid it. Louie says Virginia keeps her fathers books. she goes to Waltbys and then goes over to the shop from there. he says Grace the other sister is the housekeeper & there is where the good housekeeping comes in _ she takes care of the kids. the mother goes out doors she likes to take care of flowers. its just the right soil for a garden meadowy & she checks the dressing right to it. a good woman but very extravegant. gives away too much to bad so guess hes Aruthur dont get ahead very much. it used to worry his mother. I am afraid your cat will catch that little mockingbird if you dont watch out. you better cloroform him before he does. I have been working on my last bedquilt a few more stitches will finish it. that will be the last one no more pieces for me. the peaching tires my stomac so much the gas keeps me awake nights. I cannot do what I did last year.
