PS I have just got my last pillow pinned up on the line that old feather bed has been on it for a month, through all the raines [[rains]]. I have made eight good full pillows out of it. I tell you its a good job done. I washed all the pillow ticks. it was bringing them in off the line that made me lose my balance but now my work is finished & I am awful tired & lame. they are out on the line blowing the lint off them. we wont be short of pillows now. We have had two windy days but the sky looks like rain to night. Paper says rain too.
Mrs Ballentine said our house never looked any prettier than it did with the sun shining full upon it last night. she is very much relieved to think they took it down so well. they asked me if they could use my driveway to cart it off home. I told them they could if they would be careful about the little maple in loading the wood onto the truck. The man is used to taking trees down in the city, among the houses of the thick settled districts. its a job that is very risky. they earn their money.
