Alice has just called up to say that David Burnsey dropped dead. he was working yesterday. he leaves three little children. he married a Sawyer down to Canton. We are cleaning house the dining room & curtains & three rugs she has on the line I washed one & my bed spread, also the porch floor. I have taken in a pink white throated petunia. if those dark ones & that big one live I am trying to root I shall have some for boxes next summer. I am afraid my lantanna is not going to stand transplanting the leaves have shrivelled up. she brought home some plants & a bag of cranberries from Bessies. her son Bill came this afternoon he brought us a globe to read. he is good to his folks & looks after Flossie. Fred is the one I like the least. he is lead around by his wife he is weak. Thursday to day is cloudy & not as warm I hope to send this letter & two others your merchants bank book & 1 to Sidney this morning
