Maude says she was a good little thing. hope it isn't a hurry up marriage. M is coming over to tell me all about the time & hope she is'nt of Irish decent for the families sake. he has been very intimate with Catholics lately. Mrs Osborne brought home two books to read & lots of sewing. she is making patchwork for two more bed quilts. they all want one. The weather is cold enough here for a frost, after the wind went down last night. Friday here was a very hot muggy day & now this change. no wonder people notice this there has been lots of deaths from heat this summer reaching into the thousands & over. hope you are well & having a good trip. Mrs Gilzer is going to get me some more raspberries if she can find them now I will say good bye
