Mrs Ballentine found me a man to clean out the vault & brought me in some little cakes for our dinner. he came last night. now I am much leaner. I feel for all concerned & no trouble with my neighbors. the doctor & Miss O'Brien took us over to Brockton. Mr Ring & I to fit us to glasses. it took from half past ten to half past one. I am to get them Thursday. it cost me nine dollars he was very good & reasonable & I feel very conscientious & he is well known by Dr Brides. After all the excitement I have been through, he has given me a treatment & I feel much relieved thereby.
