Stoughton April 11th 1935 Dear Folks We have had a dreadful cold driving storm from the North East rain & snow cold as [[?]]. it drove in so bad it run into the cellar & made haroe to our ceiling in the bathroom. I was so proud of our bathroom it was so nice now it it streaked around the electric light. Well Alice came Monday about five o'clock. I felt thankful she could be with one during this terrible storm. she is much company & seems content. I get up & get my breakfast she does up the work after she get up. we get along all right. Lena went in town about a fortnight ago, so that I was here alone a week & it was very lonesome but managed to live through it. Lena went to Dr Otto she sent me a home made postal card, day before yesterday, saying she was better. free from pain, but I guess it may be some time before she will come home as she was able to sit up then for a little which she did not say what it was I guess it was the nerve
