Stoughton March 29th

Dear Folks

The sun has gone in & cloudiness prevails — a snowy feeling air, it may rain to night. I have got nothing else to occupy my time, so will start this letter hoping it will go tomorrow or Saturday. hope by this time the little sweater has arrived. Lena is not going down this afternoon she is reading up preparing to type. well this month is most gone & has been mild here for the month of March very little wind compared with most of years. but enough in the west to make up for our deficiency. every thing goes wrong these times, there are lots of fires set in town, I wish they might find out who sets them. they are trying to crime is the order of the day. we dont know when we are safe. hope things will be better sometime.
