I am looking for Mrs. O. to come over sometime today. Lena is going to have oyster stew for our noon meal. 1/2 pt of oysters go us for two dinners, not so bad, is it? I love the stew & have not had them all winter 'till since Lena came. we have corn meal a lot we both love it. its easy to digest. she cooks it a long time Ma

Dear Folks,

This is a March day with a cool wind prevailing. it rained in the night & cleared with a plenty of cold wind. the paper says colder tonight.
We are gradually looking forward to more springlike weather but March will blow out at last. its most too cold to go out today we enjoy our spring snow drops & crocuses. I enjoy having the leaves raked off the flower beds. Mrs. Ballentine says she is wanting to get er yard raked but is not able
