was in that condition when it was done. poor cat but do look out. Our snow did not last long the seen this after noon soon dispelled the most of it. It seemes very marchy today. Lena decided to stay in today. her typeing has kept her interested this forenoon. but this afternoon she rested and read her paper. Now we have been listening into Mary Pickford. She came on at half past eight o' clock. I dont care for it, but she liked it. Too much acting to suit me too emotional. I hope Doris has got over the most of her spell. I was reading in my paper where Maggie Farrell celebrated her 80th birthday this week. She was nearer my age than I though. John died this winter he was 77. They were schoolmates of mine. Christover was 88 Celias schoolmate, but much older in her classes at school. I got up this morning to find the heat had not gone on through the night/ This was the first time it has happened. The temperature was about 25 so the house was pretty cold but is warming up fast. I hope we shall not have this freezing weather much longer. We can get out & watch our bulls come ahead & see if the rosebushes lived.
