that in place. I dont know what is the cause of so much saggin everything goes wrong nowadays. it needs a man so Mrs Bullentine says.

Lena brought her little bed room clock with her she is good she brought a stock of cereals with her, canned food enough to last months & yesterday she brought home a fish to cook & it tasted pretty nice. she is going to bring home tomatoes today in cans where she can get them the cheapest. yesterday she got some carrots not much for meat either of us I got a letter today from Kelley saying he was coming to Stoughton inside of a fortnight & would fix my clocks. he may expect to tune the piano. I am going to have him fix three clocks. will be sure now they will be done right. it will be good to have the cooco going once more. his letter cam from Plymouth, so that may be where he is living. I told him in my letter, if he was in the land of the living to come & fix my three clocks, as soon as possible & it has been a week tomorrow since I sent it. but something told me he was coming. he is of my belief. we have the same [[underlined]] meal ticket [[/underlined]] he says. I asked Louie Dykeman when he was here (he is cousin to Jacks wife). he said he did not know. his name was not down in the telephone book. but I had his card. so he is well known in Brockton I am sure he is poor like a great many others. do not worry. Ma.
