APRIL 11

Mother got 33 eggs today. Today it was Sunday.
Daddy and the boys went to Brandywine and Corner today. Daddy brought back some ice cream for Mother and me. Mr. and Mrs. Brent Early and Mrs. Neal were there today. Nice day today. Big and Little Dipper out tonight.

APRIL 12

Today it were school again. It rained today. Ray and Matine cut bulls horns off today. Daddy and Ray went to Corner and took us too. Got back at 8:30 p.m. Mother got 29 eggs today. No Big or Little Dipper tonight.  
 
APRIL 13

Today it was school. Daddy plowed today. it rained in the evening. Mother got 27 eggs today. It was not any big or little Dipper out tonight.

APRIL 14

Today it was school. It was very windy today.  Seaman 1 class Hall (a sailor) was here today I saw him. Daddy took him home. Saw Lucille and Dick Gayer & Buddie. Got back at 9:05 p.m. Big and Little Dipper tonight. Mother got 30 eggs today!
