Today was Friday and school again. I like Jimmy very much. Daddy took tree to Aung Maggies. The men put the cows in the menders [[?]]. Mother got 33 eggs today. Big and little dipper tonight.

MAY 8

Today was Saturday. Today Daddy, Franklin, Robert Lee, and me to Marlboro. Daddy to corner and T.B. Mother got 31 eggs today. Big + little dipper out tonight.

MAY 9

Today it was Sunday. We [Franklin, Robert Lee, and me] went to School School today. Aunt Lucy and Uncle Charly were here today. Uncle Charley made all of us a whistle today. Mother got 36 eggs today. Big and little dipper out tonight.

MAY 10

Today it was school and I like Jimmy better every day. Daddy took tobacco to market at Waldorf. Mother got 33 eggs today. We got the fertilizer today. Big + little dipper out tonight.
