JUNE 11

Today was Friday and school again. The men planted tobacco again today. Daddy & the boys to Cheltenham. Mother got 30 eggs today. It was hot today. Many stars were out again, tonight.

JUNE 12

Today was Sat. and no school. Mother caned [[canned]] 12 pints of peas today. Daddy & boys went to corner & B.W. today. Mother got only 25 eggs today. It was hot again today.

JUNE 13

Today it was Sunday. Daddy & the boys, and me went church today. Boys & me the Sunday School too. It was hot today. Mother got 28 eggs today. Many stars are out tonight.

JUNE 14

Today it was Monday again and school. We only had a half a day to go to school. It was very hot today. Daddy was to the tobacco market all day. Got ferritzzer [fertilizer] today. Mother got 31 eggs today. Many stars.
