JUNE 15

Today it was Tue. and half a day school.  The men worked corn & planted tobacco today  Mother got only 25 eggs today.  It was really hot today.  It was a lot of stars out tonight.

JUNE 16

Today it was Wed. and half a day school.  Mother got 25 eggs today.  It was very hot today.  There are a lot of star out tonight.

JUNE 17

Today it was Thursday and half a day school again.  The men planted potatoes today.  Mr. Curtis was here today.  Mother got only 22 eggs today.  Lots of star out tonight.  It was hot today.

JUNE 18

Today it was Friday. and the end of school till Sept.  I go to 7th grade.  Franklin 5th & Robert Lee 2th Grade.  Planted tobacco.  Aunt Kate, Angie, and Josephine today.  Got 26 egg today.  Lots of stars tonight.
