Today it was Friday. Daddy & the men started cutting wheat today. Daddy & boys to Waldorf. Very warm today. Mother got only 23 eggs today. Lots of stars tonight.

Today was Sat. Very hot today.Cut wheat again today. Daddy & the boys to T.B., cornen[[?]], & Brandy wins. Lots of stars out tonight. Mother got 24 eggs today.
