July 3
Today was Saturday. The men sewed [[sowed]] soy beans. Daddy gone till 1:15 p.m. o'clock. It was warm today. Mother got less today, only 15 eggs today. 


July 4
Today was Sunday. It rained this evening. Mother got only 17 eggs today. There were very few stars out tonight. There was no Sunday School today. It ended last Sunday.  

JULY 5

Today it was cool. Aunt Katie & Dorothy were here and spent the day.  Eddie Gibbons was here today. Daddy & boys went to the corner today. Mother got 18 eggs today.

JULY 6

Today was Tuesday.  Today the men & daddy started thrashing wheat.  Franklin Sams a tall, good look man about 48 or 49 started cutting wood today  C. trator came in here to help him.  Mother got only 15 eggs.
