Today was Saturday and still hot as ever. Daddy & boys to Branduwine. In evenning[[evening]] Daddy to J.B. and he Benedict. Got only 18 eggs today.

       MEMORANDUM
For July Mother brought in 17.90 for eggs and 3.00 for butter.
 
       AUGUST 1
Today was Sunday. Daddy and us children the corners very hot today. Mother got 24 eggs today. no on was here today.

       AUGUST 2
Today was Monday and hot as blazes, Daddy , Franklin Robert Lee to Brandywine. Daddy was out part of the night. Mother got 26 eggs today.
