Today was Saturday. and hot!  Daddy & boys to Brandywine, T.B., Corner, & Hollows.  We got 7 pigs today from Rabbit Tayman.  Mother got 22 eggs today. 

AUGUST 8

Today was Sunday. and still hot!  No one came today.  We stayed and home again.  Mother got 21 eggs today.

AUGUST 9

Today was Monday and was it hot!  Daddy, Franklin & Robert Lee went down on the place today.  Daddy out.  Mother got 21 eggs again today.

AUGUST 10

Today was Tue. and still hot!  The men started cutting tobacco today.  Mother set for 100 chicks today.  Daddy out.  Mother got 22 eggs today.
