AUGUST 15

Today was Sunday and hot!  Nothing much happed today.  Daddy and boys down on place.  Mother got only 20 eggs today at big drops.

AUGUST 16

Today was Monday and still hot.  Daddy and men bailed straw today.  In the evening Daddy delivered straw.  I went with him on last load.  He took it the Mr Aist.  Mother got 25 eggs today.

AUGUST 17   Daddy's B.

Today was Tue. and still hot!  Daddy is sick today.  Aunt Kate was here today.  Mother got only 19 eggs today.

AUGUST 18

Today was Wed. and hot!  Daddy is still sick  he went to see the doctor.  The men are cutting tobacco today.  Mother got 21 eggs today.
