1944 - Monday school. Not very cold outside today. Took milk to school. Still like D. VS. Have Math homework. Betty has mumps.

1945 - Wednesday and school pictures (group) taken. Sandy here today. Cool.

1946 - Thursday & school. Music Lesson. Girls lost to [[Surkey?]] 34-30, To Clinton. Car broke down. to Brandywine. got home 7 p.m.

1947- Friday & school. Miss. Shackhart absent. Assembly 7th period. Mr. Reeder here. Paul Moravs last day at G.P.H.S. Cold. Dr. Bowers about 7 p.m. Grant, Theresa, Henry.

1948- Saturday. Snowed off & on all afternoon. Cold out. Daddy & Boys out.

FEBRUARY 8
1944 - Tuesday and no math. Took guitar lesson today. It was cool outside today. Betty Young is back today.

1945 Thursday and school. picture taken again today. Clubs 1st period. S.C. Assmely [[Assembly?]].

1946 - Friday and school. warm out today. Boys lost to Lackey - 12-30 (?)

1947 Saturday & cold. Snowed last night & some today. Daddy & boys out. Heard "Life of Riley" and etc.

1948 Sunday. cold out. Henry Robinson in afternoon. He was drunk. Heard usual radio programs.
