APRIL 3

1944 - Monday and school Mrs. Howard not here Mrs. Martins was our teacher. snow. got reports clipped wood. 9:00 AM got out 3:15. 
1945 - Tuesday and school. Mr. Lambert. put cottons on Tobacco beds.
1946 - Wednesday and school.Franklin didn't go. cool. Carrot very sick. Had music today.
1947 - Thursday. cool out. Daddy & boys out. Heard usual radio programs. Washed my hair.
1948 - Saturday. downtown window shopping. went to movies "I Remember Mama" and then to where Billy works. went to bed at 11:00 pm. 

APRIL 4

1944 - Tuesday. and school. Took music lesson today. snow in evening (hard). Finished my Home Ect. dress today. Mrs. Howard here today.
1945. Wednesday and school colder and windy. put cottons on.
1946 Thursday & school. Music lesson. Science test. Lit. in Miss Guard's room. Connie Bennett here today. She is real nice
1947 Friday. Daddy & boys out. cool out. put in posts on front porch. washed windows. Heard usual radio programs.
1948 Sunday. Went to church at Forestville Mr Catlin, preacher. cold out. Betty, Louise & Aunt Menirva brought me back. Billy played piano for me.
