APRIL 21

1944 - Friday and school. hot out today. Started studying Chile today. Mrs. [[Dizorn?]] again today. Guitar lesson 3th period going to play on May 5. 
1945 - Saturday. cold & windy H.H. Guy Myers. Daddy & boys out. finished "Wind of the Vikings"
1946 - Easter Sunday. all to church. nice out Aunt Florence & Uncle Garett. Daddy & boys to corner. Mother doesn't feel good. Connie Bennett at Church.
1947 Monday & school. real cold & windy & rainy out (40°F) Algebra test. Mr Reeder here. 8A over 8B girls in Basketball tie score. Library club meeting.
1948 - Wed. Music & Physics tests. Practiced play 5-6 periods & again tonight. Harold Robinson brought me home. Warmer. 

APRIL 22

1944 - Saturday. Daddy to Maggie Uncle Len there. to Aunt Katie but she was not home. Baker here for wood. Love Freddie very much.
1945 Sunday. Cooler. Aunt Florence & Uncle Garth. found a bunch of "Star of Bethleham."
1946 Easter Monday, noone came to work. Daddy & Robert out. cleaned upstairs, changed my room around. Franklin plowed land.
1947 Tuesday & school. Tobacco market opened. Daddy & Boys to market. very cold & windy out. Mr. Reeder at school he is married!!!
1948 Thursday. Went home with Betty Jean Fort Donald HanSickler brought us by to Play practice. Went to "Curley's" in Waldorf. He brought me home about 11.
