1944 - Tuesday. Daddy + boys to tobacco market all day. windy out today. sick very bad coal.

1945 Wednesday. didn't go anywhere today. cool Matila was here today. 

1946 Thursday. Daddy + boys to Waldorf. Misty out. I got paper in Morning. 

1947 Friday. miss school a lot. heard band music + etc. Boys over to Aunt Minervas. washed my hair. Mother washed clothes. cool. Miss Mr. Reeder.

1944 - Wednesday. Daddy + Maggie, Robert, May, Cousin Genie in evening. Cousin Genie is going to stay.

1945 Thursday. didn't go anywhere today. hot. Dr Bowen gave me a check-up today.

1946 Friday. finished planting tobacco. Mother, Daddy out. Got baby chickens. rain. Goldsmith & White.

1947 Saturday. cool out. Daddy + boys out (Clinton). Heard usual radio programs.
