1944-Monday. warm out today. Daddy + boys out. got in at 10:00 p.m. Cousin Genie still here.

1945 Tuesday. went shopping. heard President Tureman's [[Truman's]] & Edward R. Settinius who ajourn [[?]] the San Francisco conference. 

1946 Wednesday. Mrs. Snubt, Ruth Wilson Burn's + Marie sowed sow beans. hot.

1947 Thursday. rained. Gantt Florence Joe about 1:30 pm until 6 pm. planted tobacco. Heard Kraft Music Hall + etc. 

June 27
1944 - Tuesday. Temperature 106 degrees. Vancy + Kenny from 12:30 + 4:30 p.m. Cousin Genie left for Mrs. Earnshaws [[?]] hear brother Henry (very nice). [[?]]

1945 Wednesday. Lucas + Maltial. [[?]]
Got to Emily's Tue. Norman is at Fort Meade is going to be discharched. warm.

1946 Thursday. warm out. Daddy cut wheat for Rabbit Tayman. Heard Hobby Lobby.

1947 Friday. warm. planted tobacco. Hears prize fight-Billy Fox over Artie Levine.
