1944- Friday. warm today. thrashed wheat today.

1945- Saturday. didn't go anywhere today. hot as blazes. Heard FBI in Peace and War. aslo [[also]] Your Hit Parade. Talking with Aunt Neta.

1946- Sunday. "A" bomb test today at 4:30 p.m. We heard it. Daddy & boys out. last Westinghouse program.

1947- Monday. hot out. John Bonds. heard usual radio programs. Sold all but mother rabbit including "Bugs Bunnie"

JULY 1

1944- Saturday. Daddy thrashed wheat today (finished). Turned pigeons out this morning about 20 are going to stay. cool today. 

1945- Sunday. Mr. & Mrs. Moore left for N.Z. hot. some rain in the evening. heard Greenfield Village Chaple [[Chapel]] Serice [[Service]] last until Fall.

1946- Monday. Thrashed wheat. canned apple sauce. hot. got letter from play mate [[?]]. magazine [[?]] S. Bades.

1947- Tuesday. hot. rained about 10 pm. fixed new wagon today.
