1944 - Tuesday. I went to Dr. Bodum again today. Stayed at Aunt Maggie rest of day. hot. Helped Maggie & May can peaches.
1945 - Wednesday. Hot (95 F) Daddy ? Took Tobacco to market in afternoon.
1946 - Thursday. cold out today. Mason Hawkins gave some straw for cow Reggie.
1947 - Friday. Mae & I to Helena's & her mother. saw "Chuck", Jamie & etc. hot.

1944 - Wednesday. Daddy, boys and me to Marlboro. Saw Aunt Neta. Daddy got the farm joining down on the place.
1945 -Thursday. very hot. daddy & boys work wheat & Aunt Katie and I went to Waldorf. Sold tobacco. Katherine sent me some postcards.
1946 Friday. Daddy & boys out. warmer today. finished read "Plains of Abraham" by James Oliver Curwood.
1947 - Saturday. washed hair to market in afternoon. Norman brought his girlfriend, Ruth Hood, here around 12 pm.
