1944- Wednesday and school. rainy and wet today. Mother got 13 eggs today.

1945 Thursday and school. Saw Peck but he didn't speak to me. I wonder why?? Got my music book. warm, about noon.

1946 Friday & school. warm out today. game with Bladensburg (soccer) in afternoon. Like Mr. Reeder more all the time.

1947 Saturday. warm. washed clothes. Daddy & boys out. Northwestern 27- U.C.L.A. 26; Navy 6 - Columbia 13.

1944- Thursday and school. No math today for homework. rainy and wet today.

1945- Friday school half a day because of Nimitz celebration. Saw Peck. Like him more every day. Am in a bad mood today got mad with everyone. warm.

1946 Saturday. Holiday & Earl. warm out. Daddy & boys to Republican party at Mr. Freeman's. Columbia over Navy 23-7.

1947 Sunday. Uncle Gantt & Aunt Florence and all of us to Bendicts for dinner. Mr. O'Neil. Mr. Wheeler to buy land out on highway.
