1944- Tuesday & very cold. Didn't got school because car, truck, frozen up. Daddy & boys to Mrs. Smith & corner.

1945 - Friday and school. Warmer and clear

1946- Thursday No school.warm. Glee club 7th period. Jac here, he doesn't like me any more. I'm sorry about it.
1947 - Friday & school. In library 5& 7 periods. Monic in History class 6 period. Kissed Miss.Pearson that morning. Saw Mr. Reeder. cold & raining out.

1944- Wednesday & school. Had a IQ test today. Brent early & [[?]]. cloudy.

1945 - Thursday and school. got off at 2 pm ice-sleet. rainy. Army Nurse Corps assembly 2nd period
1946 - Friday & school. warm. Algebra test. English - cool reports. Jac is mad with me again. Like Mr. Reeder (he is going to quit).
1947 Saturday. cold out. cloudy &  hage [[?]] out. Mathew sick.
