Carrots[[??]]very sick. Had S. Studies test. 1946 Friday & school. Joe & Algebra II. Gannt & Florence with us today Like Mr. Reeder more & more. Miss Schuckhart not here. Mr. Hernich our Biology teacher. 1947 Saturday. cold out. typed nearly all day long. fixed up Xmas cards. washed hair. 19 DECEMBER 14 1944-Thursday and school. cold Killed 2 hogs today. Daddy & T.B. & H.H. 1945-Friday and no school because of the icy roads. to Aunt Maggies saw Halliday. 1946 Saturday. worked on the house today. Daddy, boys & me to Marlboro. in morning saw Nita & Henry. Daddy did not go out in afternoon. 1947 Sunday. Gantt, Florence & Henry for day. cold out. put new battery in radio. 19
