1944 - Friday & school. Today Smoky (cat) came back.

1945 - Saturday. Franklin & Dr Badens. Daddy & boys out - to Mrs Smith, corner [kites?] meet 3 guys from Wash. sold them a turkey one was from Georgia. 

1946 - Sunday. snowed. Joe & Estell all day. Brent & wife in afternoon. cold out. Man for Christmas trees.

1947 - Monday & school. Movie in music class 2nd per. Got out for one 5th per. also. Library meeting 6th period. Nancy Mc & I had a fight 7th period. rained.

1944 - Saturday. Smokey gone. Daddy ran over Nicky or something. Nicky sick. George Bayne killed today. 

1945 - Sunday. Cold out. Uncle Gantt & Joe for day. Mae & Robert. Henry R. & some friends of his. Franklin sick. 

1946 - Monday & school. cold out. Like Joe a lot also Mr. Reeder. Wrapped Xmas presents & etc. 

1947 - Tuesday & school. finished first budget. Glee Club 5th-6th periods 9B over 8A in basketball. Franklin played. cold out.
