1944 - Wednesday. Daddy & boys to Maggie & Corner, rain, hail & ice in evening, down to 10° F. miss school

1945 - Thursday. Cousin Genie for to spend the day. Cold out. Carrots still sick. Heard "FBI in Peace & War" also Suspense. 

1946 - Friday. Cold out. "Dot" Good towards night. Mother felt a little better today. Hauled wood. Heard Baby Snooks & Thin Man. 

1947 - Saturday. cold out today. Daddy & boys out in afternoon. Looked at stamp collection.

DECEMBER 28

1944 - Thursday. Daddy & boys out very icy out. went sleigh riding skined my leg up. 

1945 -Friday. rained in afternoon. Tom, Edna & girls in afternoon. Daddy, boys & me to Kites & Mrs Smoots. cold out.

1946 Saturday. To Marlboro in the morning Saw Neta and did some shopping. Very warm out today. Boys went coon hunting. Heard "Hit Parade"

1947 Sunday. Cold out. Heard usual radio programs. Daddy & boys out. Man to see daddy about buying some land.
