Wednesday good day, men finished Tobacco beds, and then striped Tobacco The rest of the day, worked on fence after school. called Judy up at night. took Barbara 1 fish we caught tuesday night. Robert and I to school. Hot.

MAY 11
Thursday good day but hot, disk and planted corn all day until dark, on The level. planted about 11 acres, not finished. Robert and I stayed home, went down and got 2 ton of [[?]] from [[?]], called Judy up at night, said she would go out with me again. glad of it.

Fair day 1/2 of the day. daddy finished planting his corn before dinner then it Rained all afternoon. took mother to Waldorf to get a [[?]] and to get Robert and my hair cut. called Barbara up at night. "sorry I did." Went to bed at 9. oclock.

May 13
Saturday
Good day all day. carried load of tobacco to market. men striped tobacco 1/2 a day. Joe + I planted my corn the other half. got flat Tire on Tractor. Went to Waldorf to see James about it. Have got 50 AW pickups [[Bates?]] [[?]] To Md-[[?]]-[[?]] for us. washed car at night. called Judy up at night. went up to see Bob Via in afternoon.
