JUNE 7
Wednesday Good day all day. Robert and I went to school, got my tobacco land in orchard. Hot weather 88ᵒ. Many to Fins Graduation, at night, called cousin Margert Ward up to find out about going to Aunt [[?jeriting]] on sunday, [[?gertry]] gone to New York on school trip, dug on fish poan at night.

JUNE 8
Thursday Hard day all day. Robert & I to school end hay around barn on other place in morning. Mother Mary & I went over to Willie Amm's & Ruth's Graduation over in Calvert Co at night. got home 11:30 P.M. [[?]] cultivated tobacco all day, hot up to 92°.

Friday Good day all day. Robert & I to school. finished cultivating tobacco. hot up to 89°. planted tobacco in afternoon with hand planters. Fin & Mary to Movies. I went up to see Bob but he was not home. saw Amira May + Mrs Via. I got home 11:30 P.M. Mary got home same time.

JUNE 10
Saturday fair day all day. planted tobacco in morning. got hay in, in the afternoon. carried house mower down to Md Tobacco Growers to be sold. at drink soc night get the Pickeys baler, "Mabey" went up to Bobs. had gone to movies saw Amira May. mowing in afternoon & night. Mrs. Freeman. Hot. up to 94° I like Amira May.
