Monday. Good day all day. Nomie, Robert & I replanted tobacco all day, I worked on bale loader at night until 11 oclock. had one shower of rain in afternoon. went up to see Van brooks at night about money for tire, also got 35 gallons of gas from smiths,

JUNE 20
Tuesday Good day all day, I disk land down on [[?]] tobacco land. Took me 2 hours. Randorf brought 50 AW pickup bales at 1:30 in afternoon. Robert Raling in afternoon. Mary to [[strikethrough]]go[[//strikethrough]] course practice at night. I went up to Bobs, got home 1030 oclock, saw Adina May, Mrs Via & Mr Via.

Wednesday Good day all day, got up 20,000 [[pioc?]] of tobacco land by Mr Dicks little old house. Mr Pyre for potatoes. Van Brookes to pay daddy for Railroad Ties. $268.00. gas man came. [[momic?]] cultivating tobacco in afternoon. Joe cutting weeds out of corn (Hot.) Bob & I went to movies at Waldorf. I saw Adina May.

JUNE 22
Thursday Good day all day. drew tobacco plants before dinner and got water to start planting with tractor planter. drew more Tobacco plants in afternoon and got more water. mary to work as usual. Mr Duley came here to see daddy (he bought Author Misters place) hot Today.
